I have a character design walkthrough in the latest edition of UK based 2D Artist Magazine. The article is part of the magazine's Evolution series, where artists design characters that have evolved or adapted to exist in a certain type of environment.
The environment I had to design for was the desert, and in the walkthrough I go through my design process, from research, reference gathering, exploring different design options and then creating a more polished design for presentation.
The issue also features great work by Ryan Lang, Rasmus Berggreen, and Vinod Rams to name a few.
Issue #93 of 2D Artist Magazine is out now and is worth checking out.
